Your Speakers
Our hand-picked speakers come to us from a variety of backgrounds, from charity, sports, business, family, wellness and many more. To keep an element of surprise, we don't reveal the speakers until the night, but to give you a wee taster last time we had an Olympic gold medallist, one of New Zealand's top sales & mindset coaches, the founder of a charitable trust changing lives for Kiwi families struggling with a terminal diagnosis and a coach & adventurer who made the decision to work through her grief by changing her life.
All had a story to share, overcoming challenges, life lessons, often with humour, but always with a message.

Flock is a social enterprise. All of the event's profits are donated to the female-focused charity, featured on the night.

Introducing Claire, Flock founder, with a commitment to running an event which brings together awesome women.
“My inner circle meet every month to discuss three preselected questions. We have learnt so much more about each other as friends, women, wives, mothers & lovers over these evenings talking. One of the questions at the beginning of 2021 was what do you want the group to hold you accountable to do this year, for me that was Flock.
“I believe women want to hear about the vulnerabilities and truths from others in their tribe. We want to peel back the layers and know what truly goes on behind closed doors. We are interested in knowing the stories that others have lived through that have led to their successes and failures. Hence the birth of Flock, bringing together women, to talk, discuss and uncover the truths, to feel a little more that we are on this journey together.”
Claire is also the proud Founder of Sculpt Gardens – a garden design studio based in Takapuna.
“I have always wanted to offer a flexible work place where work can flow around the many other commitments that are important to us in our lives. Our values have organically led to a predominantly female team.
“Before my career in garden design, I was immensely involved with Takapuna Playcentre for 10 years with my three children. Playcentre is another predominantly female run organisation that values play based learning, believing families are the best first educators of their tamariki.
“I guess I am drawn to creating meaningful spaces for women I love and respect. Flock is an extension of what I have been doing for the past 15 years. A celebration of women, our stories – our triumphs and struggles.”
